Food Pantries

onsite & at Belden School

When:  Every Friday from 1:30-3:30p (except on or near holidays or if there's extremely inclement weather, please call to confirm that we are open near holidays or if the weather is bad!).  
While we are open every Friday, you can only receive groceries once a month.           

Where: The entrance is on the Cleveland Ave side of the building, close to 2nd St SW. Parking is available onstreet at meters or parking decks, sorry for the inconvenience.  

Who: Those who meet income guidelines set by the Ohio Dept. of Job & Family services & can show proof of residency in these zip codes:

A valid drivers license or state ID is required, but if that doesn't have your current address, bring a piece of mail such as a utility bill or financial statement with your current address in addition to your ID.  A statement that you meet income qualification set by the Ohio Department of Job and Family services must be signed, but we don't require you to show proof of income. 
If you cannot come to the church during pantry times for any reason, you can ask someone you trust to pick up groceries for you. You'll need to complete a letter of proxy to do this, download here.

What: Mostly non-perishables, but occasionally produce, bread and other perishables.

Requested Pantry Items of the Month

CANNED VEGGIES & GRANOLA BARS

Pantry Donations:  Any non-perishable food items and hygiene items are always appreciated. If you'd like to make a monetary donation, you can click on the 'donate now' button below and specify that your donation go to the food ministry.  Crossroads served 145 households with 372 individuals in July 2015 alone.  

Oatmeal Ministry (breakfast)

When: Every Sunday morning from 6:30am to approx 8:45am
Where: In Wesley Fellowship Hall, located on the basement level of the church.  Enter through the awning door on the Cleveland Ave. side of the building (wheelchair accessible) or use steps located on the parking lot side.
 
Who: Open to all, no requirements.
 
What: A hot breakfast, usually scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, toast, coffee and orange juice.
