ABOUT OUR MINISTRIES
At Crossroads United Methodist Church, we don't consider ourselves to be part of an institution, but rather we believe ourselves to be part of a movement. Our entire calling is to follow Jesus' teachings and to bring wholeness, healing, forgiveness, purpose and the love of God into this world. If you are tired of institutions, come to Crossroads and be part of God's movement to bring healing and wholeness into this world.
Meet the Professional Team. Each member of this team brings a unique set of gifts, abilities and experiences. Their primary purpose is to help all people experience and enter into God's movement of healing and wholeness in this world.
As you get to know these persons you will find them to be real. They know that they are also on the "journey" and they continue to open their hearts to God's direction and Spirit.
Every Sunday morning from 6:30-9:00am, Crossroads offers a hot breakfast to 150-200 people in need. This is a beautiful opportunity to witness our faith in action as it is staffed by volunteers from our congregation. These volunteers also offer a brief devotional service with time for personal testimony, sharing of prayer concerns and hearing the good news of Jesus Christ.
On Friday afternoons, from 1:30-3:30pm, Crossroads opens it's doors to serve persons in need of groceries. This wonderful ministry that impacts the lives of many families is made possible by volunteers from Crossroads. Learn more...
Sunday School & Nursery
Sunday School for kids in preschool to 6th grade meets during worship. Children start out in the sanctuary with parents and are then taken to Sunday School by the teacher about 15 minutes after the service starts (usually after the special children's message). The teachers will then bring the kids back to the sanctuary after the service.
For children under the age of 3, we have a nursery located next to the sanctuary. Just ask an usher or staff member if you need child care.
Are you interested in sharing your musical talents? Anyone is welcome in the adult choir, if you'd like more info contact our Director of Music Ministries, Beth Polen.
United Methodist Women (UMW)
Crossroads has a couple UMW circles (small groups) for women of all ages. They gather for fellowship throughout the year, and support various charities by fundraising.
See the UMW page for more info.
